Letters of Richard H. Collins and Francis M. Whittle, 1876, n.d.

Collins writes to Francis Ford regarding a bill in the Kentucky House of Representatives that will allow him to sue the state, after which he can meet his monetary obligation to Ford. He notes that Pollock Barbour changed his vote and attacks one Sumner Marble for his treachery. He also records the actions of Marcum, Bowles, Fleming and Blue. Whittle writes to Sandford Duncan concerning the selection of Cummins as an Episcopal bishop.
